To wander in devotion

Although he did not remove the high places from Israel, Asa’s heart was fully committed to the Lord all his life. –2 Chronicles15:17

Asa’s outward obedience was not perfect—he was generally right, but not completely. If you say “not important”, be very careful. What don’t matter to you may matter to God. Nothing is small to God’s children. For the issue that we prevent God teaching us, how long will it take? But God doesn’t lose patience. You say, “I know I am worthy of God.” But the high places are still there, and your un-obedience is still there. Do you still have things in life that make you hesitate while you insist you are worthy of God? Whenever you hesitate, let go, no matter what it is. Nothing is unimportant.

Is there anything in your body or mind that you can’t concentrate on? You are generally well, but you are careless; that is, something has gone wrong in the matter of concentration. Just as your heart cannot take leave and stop beating, so your spiritual focus cannot focus on other things instead of God. If you have a day off, your morals will fall. If your spirit takes a day off, you are no longer spiritual. God wants you to belong to him completely, which means that you need to be alert and keep the best state. It takes a long time, but some people tend to think that it only takes two or three minutes to soar.

Dear God, may your light penetrate me. Grant me your smile and the blessing, that make my whole heart completely belong to you.
