Vocabulary【Describing Goals】
specific
To be specific means to be precise and clear.
A specific goal clearly defines what you want to accomplish.
If something is specific, it is not general or vague.
specific: 明确的
precise: 清晰的
vague: 模糊的
achievable
If something is achievable, it can be reached or accomplished.
For a goal to be achievable, you need to have the resources to complete it.
quantitative
If something is quantitative, it can be measured by objective standards or metrics.
A quantitative goal may be measured by statistics, data, or percentages.
quantitative: 量化的
statistic: 统计数字
qualitative
A qualitative goal is measured subjectively and indirectly.
"Improving customer satisfaction" is an example of a qualitative goal.
You can turn a qualitative goal into a quantitative goal by using metrics such as data or percentages.
