It is widely acknowledged that a healthy and stable parent-children relationship plays a significant role in domestic life. The relationship, crucial to children in itself, promotes not only the most profound impetus in their pursuit of happiness, but also an equally strong motivation to become a better person even in the very early stage of their life.

To strengthen such a relationship, one must engage in a number of domestic activities in the good will of mutual respect. Namely, the children should pay proper respect to their parents--like what the Chinese traditions usually tell us to do--and vice-versa. Moreover, a close connection between parents and their children also serves as a fundamental way to enhance mutual understanding,which means more time with each other, and more secrets shared. Lastly, parents are recommended to be idols—role models for their children, instead of supervisors or tyrants.

In conclusion, an awesome relationship between parents and their children comes from joints efforts of both sides, while such burden is laid even more on the parents.
