名词变复数

英文中名词分可数名词和不可数名词。可数名词有单数和复数两种形式。
名词变复数规则如下。

1. 一般名词词尾加“-s”构成复数。
   friend → friends　case → cases　handbag → handbags　umbrella → umbrellas　photo → photos
2. 以“-s、-x、-ch、-sh”和部分“-o”结尾的名词词尾加“-es”。
   bus → buses　dress → dresses　box → boxes　fox → foxes　watch → watches　dish → dishes　wish → wishes　tomato → tomatoes　patato → potatoes
3. 以“辅音字母+y”结尾的名词，把“y”变成“i”再加“es”。注意：以“元音字母+y”结尾的名词，直接加“-s”。
   baby → babies　city → cities　boy → boys　key → keys
4. 以“-f、-fe”结尾的名词，把“-f、-fe”变为“v”再加“es”。
   wife → wives　wolf → wolves
   5.“man、woman”及以其结尾的名词把“man”变为“men”，“woman”变为“women”。
   policeman → policemen　policewoman → policewomen
5. 不规则名词复数
   tooth → teeth　child → children　foot → feet

序数词

1. 基数词
   one、two、three、four、five、six、seven、eight、nine、ten、
   eleven、twelve、thirteen、fourteen、fifteen、sixteen、seventeen、eighteen、nineteen、
   twenty、thirty、forty、fifty、seventy、eighty、ninety、
   hundred、thousand、million、billion。
2. 序数词
   the first<1st>、the second<2nd>、the third<3rd>、the fourth<4th>、the fifth<5th>、the sixth<6th>、the seven<7th>、the eighth<8th>、the ninth<9th>、the tenth<10th>、
   the eleventh<11th>、the twelfth<12th>、the thirteenth<13th>、the fourteenth<14th>、the fifth<15th>、the sixth<16th>、the seventh<17th>、the eighth<18th>、the ninth<19th>
   the twentieth<20th>、the thirtieth<30th>、the fortieth<40th>、the fiftieth<50th>、the sixtieth<60th>、the seventieth<70th>、the eightieth<80th>、the ninetieth<90th>、the hundredth<100th>
   the twentieth first<21st>、the twentieth second<22nd>、the twentieth third<23rd>

时间表达方法

1. 整点：~点钟 + o'clock
   eight o'clock　ten o'clock
2. 半点：half past + ~点钟
   half past nine　half past ten
3. 分钟不过半点：~分钟 + past + ~点钟
   twenty past eight　ten past five　fifteen past ten = a quarter past ten
4. 分钟超过一半：剩余分钟数 + to + 下一个整点钟
   five to ten　twenty to eight　a quarter to eleven
5. 美式简单表达方法：~小时 + ~分钟
   one twenty　one fifty　one fifty five

日期表达方法

“月 日，年”。“月”用英文单词，“日”用序数词，“年”用阿拉伯数字。按照英文单词朗读。
January 一月、February 二月、March 三月、April 四月、May 五月、June 六月、July 七月、August 八月、September 九月、October 十月、November 十一月、December 十二月。
2014年8月25日：August the twenty fifth，two thousand fourteen → August 25th，2014
2014年5月31日：May the thirty first，two thousand fourteen → May 31st，2014
1998年7月1日：July the first，nineteen ninety eight → July 1st，1998
1985年10月19日：October the ninetieth，nineteen eighty five → October 19th，1985
