Well, that's the ending of the book, which is a little different to that of the movie. I have to say that I like to see happy ending.
Among all of the characters Elinor is my favorite because I like her calmness which I try hard to own.I think the author has shaped a figure so faultless and saint.How can a nineteen–year–old girl be able to judge others with consideration of their background! H ow mature she is! She can stand in Edward's shoes and pities for him;she can keep Lucy's secrecy with great exertion and hope of not giving more affliction to her family while her sister's emotion was gloomy and therefore failed to understand her better. Sometimes I think maybe it's because she is the elderly daughter who is supposed to shoulder more responsibility. However, she doesn't seem so cold as she looks like. She is only hiding her deepest feelings into her heart, she is as warm and passionate as Marrianne, which can be seen when Edward came to their home with low spirit, she feels a little annoyed but she doesn't show that feeling. She certainly cares for what Edward thinks of her and she can judge that Edward shows enough concern to her and she still loves Edward even if he is engaged. When she heard of the news that it is Lucy and Robert had married to each other, she cannot exert herself anymore but burs into tears of happiness.Anyway, these two sisters has found their own fecility in the end.
I must give myself a great cheer since I have read this book for almost three months. Though it exactly costs me more than thirty hours, I feel that a century has passed in that I keep reading and reading without finding its ending. But finally, I finished it and I am ready to open a new world.
