Taking these exams was definitely a highlight moment in my life. I targeted a very hot major in Beijing Normal Uni and worked for about 5 months and surprisingly was admitted with full scholarship.
These days i repetitively heard from the news that candidates with 400+ high scores were not even quailed for the second round interview. I could help doubting if I would have been that lucky if I were to take that exam now.
Involution is definitely getting more serious.
