By writing it down, you are pulling it out of your subconscious mind. Often, until we see these beliefs on paper in front of us, we aren’t aware that we believe them.
By noting these beliefs, we can accept them. This is important because it isn’t until we accept something that we can do something about it.
If you’re afraid of writing down something you think because doing so will make it more real, please know that it’s doing far more damage to you by remaining unconscious.
Writing it down does not reinforce it. It begins the process of unraveling it.
