Dad said："We have a new baby and she's coming home today."

I got out my ball and bat and all my favorite games to show to the baby.

今天拿出了我的棒球棒、棒球，还有所有我喜欢的玩具给小baby玩。

I found my favorite picture book and read it out loud to the baby.

我拿出了我最喜欢的绘本，对着小baby大声地讲给她听。

But the new baby didn't pay any attention to me.

但是小baby没有注意到我。

She cried a lot... even when I told her my best joke.

她经常哭...甚至我给她给她讲我最喜欢的笑话，她都哭。

I made my funniest face ever and she cried even louder.

我给她看我认为最好笑的鬼脸，她哭得更大声了。

I tried to dress her but she was to wiggly and floppy.

And sometimes she smelled funny and Mom had to change her.

So what can you do with a new baby?

Mom says we can cuddle her...

...and rock her to sleep.

We can tickle her tummy and make her laugh...

...or give her a rattle to play with.

I can give her my finger to grab...

我可以给她一根手指握着....

...and let her pull my nose.

...也可以让她抓我的大鼻子。

I can take her for a walk and show her to my friends.

我可以推着她去散步，给我的朋友们见见。

They think I'm so lucky.

我的朋友们都觉得，我好幸福。
