Happiness is like a pebble dropped into a pool to set in motion an ever-widening circles of ripples.
快乐就像一粒石子落入池中，
会激起水波连连。
As Stevenson has said,being happy is a duty.
There is no exact definition of the word happiness.
Happy people are happy for all sorts of reasons.
The key is not wealth or physical well-being,since we find beggars,invalids and so called failures who are extremely happy.
正如史蒂文森所言:“快乐是一种义务。”
快乐没有明确的定义。
快乐的人会因为各种原因而快乐。
其关键并不在于财富或身体的康健，
因为我们可以发现有许多乞丐、残疾，
甚至所谓的失败者都很快乐。
Being happy is a sort of unexpected dividend.
But staying happy is an accomplishment,a triumph of soul and character.
快乐是一种意想不到的褒奖。
而保持快乐却是一项成就，
是心灵与人品的辉煌。
It is not selfish to strive for it.
It is,indeed,a duty to ourselves and others.
努力追求快乐不是自私。
实际上，它是一种

Being unhappy is like an infectious disease;it causes people to shrink away from the sufferer.
He soon finds himself alone,miserable and embittered.

Being happy,once it is realized as a duty and established as a habit,opens doors into unimaginable gardens thronged with grateful friends.
你拥有着心灵平静的秘诀，
并且在为他人的服务中能够忘却自我。
一旦快乐被当作一种责任，
并且成为一种习惯时，
它就会开启那扇通往神秘花园的大门，
花园里拥满令人愉快的朋友。
