#劳动【láo dòng】

 “劳”指的是人类创造物质或精神财富的活动，“动”指的是改变原来位置或脱离静止状态，与“静”相对。总得来说，“劳动”指人类创造物质或精神财富的活动。

“劳”refers to the activities of creating material or spiritual wealth.“动” means by changing one's original position or leaving a state of stillness, which as opposed to static. Generally speaking, "劳动" refers to the activities of human beings to create material or spiritual wealth.

#光荣【guāng róng】

“光”指光亮；“荣”有几个意思：1.草木茂盛，引申为兴盛。　2.受人敬重，与“辱”相对 　“光荣”意思是　 荣耀;荣誉。

"光" means light; "荣" has several meanings，commonly: 1.  it refers to lush vegetation, extended to prosperity. 2. To be respected, which as opposed to dishonor.    “光荣” means honor or glorious!
