About my favorite song

I am sorry that I don’t have any music talent and I am not good at singing any song. Even I seldom listen to any music in my daily life. However, there is a song attracting me recently and let me expect to learn it. The song’s name is 10000 reasons and it is a popular Christ worship song in this modern world.

About the song, I’d like to share a story how I knew it. I am a new Christian. I often go to the church for worshiping God twice a week. Before the pastor preaches every time, he leads us singing several of gospel songs to praise God. Regrettably, I only followed them singing those gospel songs, but I was not able to sing them singly and I never planned to find time to learn them. Our pastor is from America and the songs are essentially English song. In my opinion, it’s very challenging due to my limited English level, especially my poor pronunciation problem. Usually, I was not sure the song’s real pronunciation when I listened to the English songs. So, I always felt guilty that I couldn’t sing a gospel song to praise God. And this problem let me fall in trouble. When I saw that the Christians sang those songs, in secret I prayed for my dream that I could sing an English gospel song correctly.

At the beginning of this month, there was a music team including four Christians in our church. Because they hoped adding a person to sing the song named 10000 reasons. I was invited to add  the team. During that time, I had serious cold. I just listened to the song several times. Though I couldn’t enter their team finally, I tried to learn it. Surprisingly, a video about the song, which a young child sang, attracted me. I tended to think the boy had the talent to sing like an angel. It was definite that his perfect voice was from God’s grace. During that period, no matter I stayed in my home or walked on the way to work, I listened to the song.

I am sorry that I have not listened to this song for more than ten days. Today’s writing topic reminds of me not to forget my promise to God. Thank god for reminding me through the holy spirit. I will insist in listening to it or trying to sing it singly when I start to pray for my wishes.
