In the theatre 在剧场（拉丁文翻译练习)

Pompeians were on holiday today. Masters and slaves were not working. Many Pompeians were sitting in the theatre.

Spectators were expecting actors. At last, the actors were on the stage. Pompeians were clapping.

今天是庞贝人的节日。主人和奴隶都不工作了。许多庞贝人坐在剧院里。

观众期待着演员。最后，演员们登上了舞台。庞贝人鼓掌起来。

Suddenly Pompeians heard big uproars. Slaves were coming into the theatre. “Hurry up! Tight-rope walkers are here.” shouted slaves. Pompeians didn’t watch the actors. All Pompeians from the theatre move to watch the tight-rope walkers.

突然，庞贝人听到了大声呼喊。奴隶们正走进剧院。“快点啊！走钢丝（麻绳）的人来了。” 奴隶们喊道。庞贝人不看演出了。剧院里的庞贝人都去看走钢丝（麻绳）的人。

There no one stayed in the theatre. However, the actors were not angry. The actors watched tight-rope walks too.
