When I got up this morning, I didn't feel like going to work, so I took a leave of absence and stayed at home all day. At noon, I took care of my flowers and tidied up my kitchen, bathroom and balcony. I moved some of my favorite books to the balcony. There's a corner on the balcony that is already divided into squares, as if it were specially designed for my books. If I put a desk there, I could turn this balcony into my small study. Unfortunately, there seems to be no plug on the balcony. I would need to pull a wire from inside and then get an extension cord. I hadn't even thought of that before.
The idea of cleaning up has been in my heart all along, and I've been acting on it. When I first moved in, there was a toothbrush, a cup and toothpaste in the bathroom. I told myself that there would always be only these three things behind the mirror, but before long, it was filled with all kinds of things such as combs, nail clippers, perfume, toothpicks, mouthwash, cotton swabs, moisturizing water and facial cleanser.
I put those things I didn't use very often into a cardboard box and stuffed it in an inconspicuous corner. Now, there are only the toothbrush, toothpaste, tooth cup, a bottle of facial cleanser and a bottle of skin - care lotion left. This looks really refreshing, and it has returned to a clean state.
Then I went back to the kitchen and cleaned the shelves on top of it. But it was full of food. Since I recently bought a small cabinet, I put common foods such as red dates and walnuts in it. I also like to drink a little wine lately, especially whisky and high - concentration liquor, so I moved these liquors to the bottom of this cabinet. I also want to buy a thin wine cabinet because my house is small. But I haven't found the right one yet. However, I have to buy one because I want to save some wine. The last time I brought wine to my friends, that bottle of red wine had been stored for 10 years. When I bought it, it was not very expensive, about 60. After 10 years, they all said it was delicious, which made me think about saving some now and sharing it with my friends in another 10 years. That should be a very wonderful feeling.
Well, I don't seem to have read today. This is a bit troublesome. I just listened to a few stories. That's all. My eyes are not very comfortable, but I still have to open a book. I forgot to read today. I read a poem every day. This habit has been formed for a long time. So I think it's more appropriate to make a time plan and let myself do something from a certain time to another time. If there is no time plan, this time will really slip away unconsciously. Oh, by the way, my father has come back from Jiangxi. He left the day before yesterday. It took him almost seven hours on the road the day before yesterday. Yesterday, my sister said that he was almost all in the car, and she was going to pick up a guest who would take my father with him. He took a bus to Nanchang West Station early this morning and then returned to Ryan. I asked him if he was tired, and he said that he was not tired at all. I said that's good, so that you can go if you want. He said that if you feel tired now, it means that your body is exhausted. I think he has a point.
