(English version below)
CCM Canada is a Christian organization that emphasizes holistic care for the community. Based on the spirit of 'loving thy neighbour', our urban mission ministry focuses on caring and helping the needy, whether as individuals or entire families. These include the old, the critically ill, widows and widowers, and families with special needs children. Over the last few years, CCM Centres in Vancouver and Calgary have launched programs to support autistic children and their families.
To draw attention to these community needs, CCM Canada is hosting premiere screenings of the Hong Kong film “Tomorrow is Another Day,” in June and July across five cities on both coasts in conjunction with a sharing of the Gospel. Through this film, we hope the public can better understand the daily struggles and challenges facing families with autistic children; in the aims of boosting public empathy, tolerance, and support for them.
We also hope that the film will serve as a starting point for the public to reflect and come collaborate with us; to try to connect with special needs children and their families through different avenues. We want the community to treat them kindly; to laugh, cry and walk with them; and to build up one another with total acceptance.
To love our neighbours is a noble mission for every follower of Christ. We look to join hands with brothers and sisters in all churches to care for our neighbours and to bring the Gospel of peace to every corner.
