On The Balcony

In front of the sombre mountains,

a faint, lost ribbon of rainbow;

And between us and it, the thunder;

And down below in the green wheat, the labourers

Stand like dark stumps, still in the green wheat.

Lightning falls from heaven.

我辨别出你的发香；即刻，

迅速的闪电划破长空。

Adown the pale-green glacier river floats

A dark boat through the gloom--and whither?

The thunder roars. But still we have each other!

The naked lightnings in the heavens dither

And disappear--what have we but each other?

The boat has gone.

沿着淡淡绿的冰河，一艘黑色的船

飘过黑暗——又去何方？

雷声轰鸣，然而你有我，我有你！

赤裸裸的闪电在天空战栗

并且消失——除了我有你、你有我，还有什么？

黑船已经飘走。
