状语从句

状语能够修饰动词、形容词、副词以及整个句子的成分

• 状语可以修饰动词和动词短语
  He speaks English very well.
• 状语修饰句子
  I was 10 ten years ago.
• 状语修饰形容词、副词等

从句 = 引导词 + 陈述句

• where 结构 地点状语从句
  I am shy where I am at school.
• because 结构 原因状语从句
  I am shy because I am at shcool.
• when 结构 时间状语从句
  when引导的从句部分，一般为发生时间很短的事，动词为终止性动词，表示：这时...（表示一瞬间的事），而主句部分一般为进行时态
  When the fire broke out,all the students were sleeping soundly.
• while 结构
  主句与从句结构平行，一般为同时进行的
  Father was preparing a report while I was playing video games.
While I play the piano,my sister does her homework.
• as 结构：随着 / 一边...一边... / 刚...,就....了
  As you grow older,you'll know more and more about yourself.
As he was reading,he was shaking his head.
My cap was blown away as I sat down.

常见状语从句

• even though 就算 ... ,但是...
  后面不能加but
eg：I have to say even though I may offend you.
eg：Even though,it''s right,it doesn't work for me.
• sb ... was doing when ...某人过去正在做什么
  eg：I was taking a shower when you called me.
• sb was about to when ... 当...的时候,某人那时正要做
  eg：I was about to hang out when you came here.
• sb was/did when ... 表示某人过去的状态或者动作
  eg：I was not confident when I was in high school.
eg：I was still in the office when it was almost midnight.
• sb will do sth when ... 当...的时候,某人将要做
  eg：I will tell you when I am ready.
eg：I will call you when I am not busy.

once 与 if 引导的状语从句

• once 引导的从句可以表示时间,意思为一旦怎样怎样
  eg：Once I finish this program,I will be able to have a good rest.
• once 加上一个句子还能表示条件,一旦满足了某个条件,事情就...
  eg：Once it is sunny,we can go to the park.
eg：Once I catch that train,I can arrive on time.
eg：Once you see this film,you will never forget it.
• if引导的条件的状语从句,如果...就可能会...
  eg：If you behave yourself,I will buy you a toy.
eg：If we don't hurry,we are going to be late.
