The joy of learning skating skills
学习滑冰技术的乐趣

However, I found that learning to skate was not an easy thing.

My coach encouraged me.

taught me some ways to keep balance

practiced day in and day out

didn't need my coach anymore

enjoyed skating in circles on the ice rink

mastered a new skill with courage and persistence

It is a great pleasure to learn a new skill.
学习一项新技能是一件非常愉快的事。
That's when I fell in love with skating.
那时起我就爱上了滑冰。

put on my skates

go around the ice rink

a hobby I can't give up
