中英翻译时，难的不是我们不知道语法，而是没有足够的积累。
有些表达方式是语法知识所不能覆盖的，更多的是约定俗成。我们要积累足够多的动词短语、习惯表达以及句子框架，这样才能在翻译时游刃有余。另外，在翻译工作中，也可以顺便进行积累。
英语能否运用自如，不在于词汇量，不在于语法，而在于表达。到了嘴边说不出，临到笔头写不了，都源于我们积累的表达不够多。
1、他在打零工。
He is taking odd jobs.
2、成为社会的弃儿
Sb. becomes the outcasts of society
游离于主流社会之外
Sb. remain isolated from the mainstream of social life

the responsibility rests on me/ on my shoulders
9、解放/解救/免予
liberate sb from sth/ free sb from sth
