对这个世界，请多一丝善意

I saw a short video telling a story about bullying. I felt exceedingly awful after watching this video.

I assumed it was purely a micro film based on some imaginations, even so（即便如此）, I felt equally disgusting towards these hideous（可憎的） and horrifying（令人恐惧的） acts during watching it, until, I saw the line written “based on a true story”, even more shocked to believe that this actually happened in real life.

一开始我以为这只是一段微电影，但即便是这样想，我还是对这些可憎的行为感到恐慌，心理上严重排斥。看到最后，那句“基于真实故事改编”就像是一个重磅炸弹，让人震惊，继而是良久的沉默。因为这种事情居然真的发生过。

What angered me was not only the bullying acts of those abominable（讨厌的）ill-bred（没有教养的） teenagers, but also their ignoring parents, those police officers and cold-blooded people whom the mother turned to（求助）. I couldn’t help thinking about the shooting incidents already happened in American campuses. We should blame those who pulled the trigger of the gun, but what we should truly blame are those who pulled the trigger of such gruesome（可怕的） psychological intentions.

让人生气的不单单是那些讨人厌的欺凌者们，都是一些冥顽不化的青少年，最令人痛心的主要是他们无动于衷甚至认为欺凌事件理所应当的家长，正确教育的缺失助长了此类事件的发生。还有那些频频拒绝这位母亲求助的人们，更是让人心寒。不禁联想到已经发生的美国校园枪击案件。此类事件的发生绝非任何人希望看到的，我们在抨击指责枪击事件罪犯的同时，也应该注意到，在某些案件中，持枪者原本就是受害者，他们长期忍受校园欺凌者的欺侮，被身边的人嘲笑，压抑的自卑心理继而产生的厌世情绪都是这个不太友善的环境所结出的恶果。

At the beginning, the mother lit the car on fire when herself and her disabled bullied daughter were sitting in the car. Obviously, this was suicide. And what led to this miserable consequence was the nonfeasance（不作为） of those police officers, those working in the so-called help-offering agencies and those incessant（不间断的） bullying acts.

视频开头，这个残障女孩因长期受人欺凌，情绪不稳定。她的母亲把她拉上车，点燃了车子，带着孩子脱离这个对他们母女充满恶意的世界。

There are some harsh facts that we should pay special attention to. According to statistics, over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying each year. Approximately 160,000 teens skip school every day because of bullying. 1 in 4 teachers see nothing wrong with bullying and will only intervene 4% of the time. We should ask ourselves, are we one of those bullies or bullied, or are we one of those who chose not to react?

调查显示，每年有超过320万学生遭受欺凌，每天大约有16万青少年因难忍欺凌逃学，每4个老师中有1个对欺凌行为视而不见，干预甚少。

对这个世界，请多一丝善意

It may be cliché（老生常谈）, but I hereby call for（呼吁） everyone to show at least a faint of kindness to those vulnerable groups and response with less tolerance（容忍） towards those bullying acts. We can be the ones to end such horrible incidents. Show the world what you are capable of with good manners, rather than adding more distressful factors into this already mixed world. Mutual respect is supposed to be the normal practice of the world.

在此我想呼吁所有人对弱势群体多一丝善良，对欺凌行为少一分容忍。或许你我就是欺凌事件的终结者。不论是肢体上的欺凌，还是言语上的攻击，都是我们应该抵制的。用善意打动这个世界，让原本充斥着各种复杂因素的社会多一分单纯。因为互相尊重，本就该是这个世界的常态。
