雨夜行走

暴雨下了一个下午，心也忐忑了半天。那个我上班路上的乞丐，可有地方躲雨？碧瑶的天气是半天晴空半天雨，路上行乞的老太太，雨天会在哪里？不放心，必定要冒雨前去。多带一把雨伞吧，如果她在雨里……哦，不在。会心一笑，欣赏下雨中的碧瑶吧！

街道两旁的商店依然霓虹闪烁，比起平日，似乎有更多的人在喝着咖啡聊着天。这个城市到处都有音乐，办公室，街道，公园，超市……似乎碧瑶的人都生活在音乐的世界里，公寓旁的KTV，更是通宵唱着劲爆的歌曲。警察和街道的巡警依然冒雨工作，汽车并没有因雨而疾驰，依然是礼让行人，很少溅到一身水渍。路旁的垃圾堆得像小山，环卫工人也在冒雨清理垃圾。房檐下很多没带伞的人在躲雨，或许是像我一样在欣赏雨中的碧瑶，静安生活的美好。

心坦然了，自然可以逛逛书店或是特色的小吃。我看到每个商店都有一个筐或是放雨具的篮子，很多雨伞都放那里，这里的道路设计也比较特别，两旁有很深的下水沟，即使暴雨也不会淹没路面。我准备进一个小书店，进门的时候看到门口框里的雨伞，心想会不会有人拿错，或是顺手牵羊。所以进商店我没有把雨伞放筐里，收好放在旁边一个柜子上。这样，至少我用眼睛的余光可以看到它们。后来，我看到店主走过去把伞折好放入筐中。我的心一沉，真怕这两把伞丢了。也有点不好意思。走的时候，伞柄被抽长放在很多伞的筐里，方便拿走。此时我有些羞愧，我这个外国人，还没融入这个单纯美好的城市。

菲律宾是一个天主教的国家，虽然很多地方贫穷，但民众的幸福指数却很高。

回来的路上湿了裤脚湿了外套，但心中晴空万里。碧瑶的雨，我像爱晴空里的蓝天一样爱着你……

Walking in the Rain at Night

The rainstorm is lasting the whole afternoon, I felt uncomfortable for half a day. The beggar who is on my way to work, can he have a space to avoid rain? The weather in Baguio is half sunny and half rainy in a day. The woman who is begging on the way, where is she in such a rainy day? I felt uneasy, they must walk in the rain, take more umbrellas if she is in the rain… oh, not there, smile happily, enjoy Baguio city in the rain!

The lights still shine in the both streets comparing with the ordinary day, it seems as if more people are drinking coffee and chatting. There are music, office, streets, parks, supermarkets everywhere in the city. It seems that the people in Baguio city are living in the music world. KTV beside apartment is singing energetic songs the whole night. Police and the walking police in the streets work in the rain, cars are not driven fast for the rain, They are polite to let passerby go first in order not to be wet. The rubbish beside the road piles like a hill, the cleaning workers are dealing with the rubbish in the rain. The people without the umbrellas under roof are avoiding rain, maybe they are enjoying Baguio in the rain just as I did, enjoy the happy life.

I feel comfortable, naturally I can go to bookstore or enjoy the special snack. I saw there was a basket which can contain umbrellas. Many umbrellas are put there. The road design here is more particular. There are deep ditches in both sides, it can not cover the road even if there is rainstorm. I prepared for entering a small store. I saw the umbrellas in the basket at the door when entering, I thought someone could bring my umbrellas by mistake or took easily. So I didn’t put my umbrellas in the basket when entering, I put them on the box nearby so that I could see them within my sight. Later, I saw the host of the store came to put my umbrellas into the basket. I felt uneasy, I’m afraid that I may lose them. I also feel shameful, the handle of the umbrellas were put out and put them into the basket so that the customers can take easily when leaving. At this time, I feel shameful. I myself is a foreigner, I didn’t integrate into the simple and beautiful city yet.

Philippines is a country which has the belief of Catholicism, Many places are poor, but the index of happiness of the common people  is very high.

My trousers and coats are wet on my way back, it’s sunny in my heart, the rain in Baguio, I love you just as loving the blue sky in the sunny day.
