文被锁、也不想再费劲写了，发点学习的。

① have butterflies in (one's) stomach

（通常指对将要做的事）感到非常紧张，觉得很心慌

e.g. I always have butterflies in my stomach before the final exam.

我总是在期末考试前感到很紧张。

② tear/pull someone’s hair out （为……）焦虑

e.g. He has been tearing his hair out over his dissertation.

他绞尽脑汁地构思着学位论文。

③ heebie-jeebies 紧张害怕；焦虑不安

e.g. Having to walk alone at night gives me the heebie-jeebies.

我很怕独自走夜路。

④ (like a) cat on hot bricks  焦躁不安

e.g. He was like a cat on hot bricks when he was waiting for the winners to be announced.

他焦躁不安地等待宣布获胜者。

⑤ on tenterhooks

提心吊胆的，焦虑不安的，如坐针毡的

e.g. Fans of both teams were on tenterhooks when the game went into extra time.

比赛进入了加时赛，两队的球迷们都坐立不安，心一直悬着。

⑥ a bundle of nerves

焦躁的人；紧张不安的人

e.g. Sorry for the screaming – I’m a bundle of nerves these days.

很抱歉向你尖叫——这些天我很焦虑。

⑦  have kittens

心慌意乱；焦躁；恼怒

e.g. My parents had kittens when they saw the mess I made.

看我搞得这一团糟，父母气炸了。
