秋意

Sense of Autumn

瑟瑟秋风送爽凉，

The rustling autumn wind brings us coolness

江山又改夏时装。

The earth shows the color of autumn again

停车夜半寒山寺，

I park my car at Hanshan Temple at midnight

坐看枫林是月光。

In order to enjoy the moonlight on the maple forest

Autumn Thoughts

秋雨霏霏入梦乡，

Dreaming of my hometown  with the autumn rain falling

一声归雁断离肠。

Wild geese’s crying arouses my grief of parting

年年记得登高处，

I never forget to climb the heights year after year

遍扞茱萸泪满霜。

Inserted cornel everywhere, the frost is stained with tears

The Joy of Autumn

秋水盈盈逝大江，

Clear autumn water flows away into rivers

洞庭渔父唱朝阳。

Fishermen on Dongting Lake sing of the morning sun

从来天意高难问，

The sky is too high to ask its will

最是人生乐健康。

A happy life lies mainly in health
