“I just have three things to teach: simplicity, patience and compassion. These three are your greatest treasures.”~~~ Lao Tzu
This is a well-knowing saying coming from Lao Tzu who was so famous in our history that can compare with Kong Tzu. Even tough it was published hundreds of years ago, it still has educational meanings nowadays.
Simplicity: the essence of nature is simple. If you can transfer complexity into simplicity, it will mean you acknowledge the code of the world. All of us have so many complexities in our lives. We are always busy in making complexity. Like our kids, going a million different places at work, and realized that is there a way to be simple? Then we may notice that most of efficient people are actually simple. If you observe the Mather nature, you would find everything is simple, the complicate one is your heart.
Patience: is the key to lead to your success. It’s always easy to start, the most difficult thing is perseverance. And patience will help you keep going on. Then never stop when you want to give up, just think about patience, and then stick on your process. Patience will guide you achieve your objective.
Compassion: you will never be happy without it, and you will achieve no goals. Why? If you say the patience is the key to success, the compassion will be the nutrition. It will support you all the time, the only condition is holding it. Always holding compassion, never lose it, then the final destination is not a long distance any more.
These are what I think about the well-known saying. It is old, it works. It fits politicians, also fits our common people. Please always let them inspire you, they will enlighten your future.
They are simplicity, patience and compassion.
