The Truman Show is a distinctive and creative movie. It tells about an ordinary man is designed to be a famous television star without knowing it. He is deprived of freedom, privacy and dignity, being the victims of mass entertainment. Finally, Truman realise the artificiality of his suburban existence, the pursuit of liberty and happiness urge him to escape the unreal world. The film shows people a media world in an ironic way and strongly criticized the value of universal media. Therefore, I think it is a really classic movie which is well worth seeing.
