A Sign in the Airport

Review: 

Excuse me, where can I get a taxi?  请问，我在哪里打车？

Taxi... See the sign there, the yellow sign.出租车, 看见那边的标识吧，那个黄标识。

Go straight ahead. When you get to the sign, turn right. Then go out of the building.    一直往前走。当你走到那个标识时，右转。然后，出这个楼。

Lesson for today:  After you get in the taxi, the taxi driver may ask you:

上了出租车后，司机可能会问：

Where are you going?    你去哪里？ （Where can I take you?)

What's your destination? 你去哪里？

如果英语不太好，最后事先写好地址给司机看，最好有门牌号。

Here's the address.    这是地址。

It is very close.           离得很近。

close     （距离）近的

It is pretty far away.    很远的呀。   

pretty     美丽的/相当地（口语） 

far away     离得很远

It takes about 15 minutes.   大概要用15分钟。

take    占用 

minute    分钟

It takes about one hour to get there.   大约一个小时才能到。

get  there   达到那里
