Lucy is a middle school student. She usually goes to school by bicycle. Last Friday, she went to school by bike as usual. On her way to school, it began to rain. Lucy didn't have her raincoat with her so she speeded up. She rode faster and faster. As she passed the park, she saw a puddle in front of her. She tried to control the bike head properly to avoid the puddle. But she failed and fell down onto the ground. Unfortunately, it was a bad fall. She could barely stand up. It was so painful that she began to cry for help. Luckily, a policeman heard her crying and came over to help her. He called a taxi immediately and carried her into the taxi. It didn't take very long for them to get to the nearest hospital. A doctor examined her carefully and told her there was nothing too serious and she will be fine if she can lie on bed for several days. Lucy was so thankful to the policeman and the doctor and she gave them a thumbs-up.
