On the way back from the market, I was too tired to continue walking and had a rest on the bridge. With a heavy bag on my back and two bags on each hand, it was trully hard to finish the 40-minute walking without a break.
Last night, when deciding to go to the market alone, I thought of taking the train for a moment; but obviously, the ticket did not worth, at least in my mind. Therefore, walking for one and a half hours tatolly seemed the only choice. To save some time, I had my lunch on the way to the market, to be specific, on the bridge. The sandwish in bags was cold, but a little warmer than the outside tempreture.
Snow was just begining to melt at this time.
Arriving at the market, the first step was looking through all of the stalls and comparing their price for each kind of vegetables and fruits. Thanks to my memory which was actually not so bad, after about a 10-minute observation, I was able to locate the stall that had the lowest price for a certain kind of things, or to say, knew what was the lowest price for a certain thing.
Considering that I had to walk back home and had to get enough things for the coming week to eat, making choices were difficult sometimes.
At last I finished buying, getting lots of vegetables (included cucumbers, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, Roman lettuce...) as well as fruits (2 boxes of strawberries and 2 boxes of cherry tomatoes...). Heavy enough.
Walking throuth the shop windows and I saw my reflection. Girl with bags in hands and walked way home to save 2 dollars, and it suddenly hit me that I was so much like the character in some movies and TV plays, who was living abroad alone, walking home with bags contained foods sold from cheaper places.
Kind of tough life.
