The need for new learning styles does not mean ignoring the ways in the past. The Internet age brings some challenges not seen before, most obviously and most worryingly useless information blast. But fragmentation of learning and the inefficiency it drives are not new. Nor is the knowledge-faultage and missing information. That is why it is worth dusting off traditional methods of learning, from memorization and recitation techniques to case method and socratic method in law school.
