朋友哟，你是知道的，

我家中开了个盛大的欢筵；

我休了无育的“理智”老妻，

娶了“葡萄的女儿”续弦。

I made a Second Marriage in my house;

Divorced old barren Reason from my Bed,

And took the Daughter of the Vine to Spouse.

人所欲测的一切之中，

除酒而外呀，我无所更深。

Of all that one should care to fathom, I

Was never deep in anything but—Wine.
