fly in from someplace : 从哪哪儿飞过来 fly in （很有趣） 飞过来

let's give a warm welcome to him.
kind of same with : "let's say hello to him."
常用语，介绍某人入场

It's clear to me that operations here are obviously going from strength to strength.
strength to strength : means that sth starts from good to better 很好的形容，在这里，用中文的话，要说从优秀到卓越嘛 😀
