影视有时候就是这么奇妙。不需要过多的言语和告白，只是几个场景，就可以让人感同身受。

If there's a single phrase that sums up the through line of Green Book, a favorite of Oscar——it is this: a fine wine.

Unlike those action movies, which are full of fierce fighting and dazzling special effects, Green Book was moderate, formed by a road( Road movie if you want to say) and two main characters, and music, and laughter and conflicts.

The conflicts were not intense, traditionally but not literally.

An example was the stare between Dr. Shirley and those black working in the farm. The scene was silent but at that time the atmosphere weighed heavily on audience's mind. A light of confrontation and contraction came into those eyes and some other feelings could make a great impact on people.

And the happiness was infectious. At the end of movie when Dr. Shirley played in a concert in a bistro, the discrimination, arrogance, and all the bad things were gone. Everyone was laughing and the joy was authentic at that moment.

In a sense, the movie is charming via a few scenes.

Back to Green Book, it feels at once sad and deeply satisfying, complicated and surprisingly comic. Wish many of us have traveled with the characters!
