Who am I?

Since I was a child, I have grown up with my grandparents because my parents are busy with their job and have less time to take care of me. At that time, I spent much time with my uncle, who was an excellent Chinese teacher and usually taught me to draw traditional Chinese paintings and write Chinese calligraphy. And because of my interests in classic musicc, I also learnt accrodion from teachers. At that time I liked the lighting on platform and the wonderful eloquence of hosts/

This childhood was happy until one day my uncle was diagnosed with cancer and died one year later. I was so sad and I found there is little we can do to cure the cancer completely. My uncle treated me very well and taught me many valuable things but when he suffered from cancer, I couldn't do anything more to help him until he died. I thought again, what can I do to help people suffered from cancer?

For this question, I have thought for many years, until the college entrance examination. I chose the pharmacy in China Pharmaceutical University. I wanted to learn synthesis of drugs, so one day I can do some help for synthesis of drugs anti-tomors to help more cancer patients to see the hope of life. And one day, we can conquer the cancer which will be a disease with reachable disease and not something we are afraid of so much. With this dream, I continued my master degree in Kings college London . After I came back China, I worked in a pharmaceutical biotechnology company for the introduce and registration of imported drugs. Until 2014, I obtained an opportunity to Laval University, becoming a PhD student in medicine department. Nowadays I research in breast cancer, which is the first common cancer for women in North America.

From last year, I also started my journey in toastmaster. I want to improve public speaking ability. So one day, I can express the knowledge of preventing breast cancer to women. One day, we have more effective inhibitors that breast cancer patients can keep their brest and be a comfident woman. One day, we hope the whole society will pay more attention to women's health, making a more tolerant atmosphere for breast cancer patients and to create a better environment for mothers, wives and daughters.

This is my experience and my dream, I hope the people with dreams can really keep working on it and we can achieve them.
