A typical Chengdu boy? What are the three features you may think of when asked of such a question? Have a mild temper, always be optimistic and know how to enjoy life are the three characters I conclude.
Reiss’s mild temper makes him a person with whom you’ll never feel restless. He seems to be able to make himself at ease at tough situations, moments of ecstasy and down In comparison to my easily shouting when driving, Reiss’s expressions are still peaceful even with the toughest road conditions. It softens the anxieties and calm passengers down too. Whenever Reiss shares good news that his investment is well repaid or his real estate propery’s price roars up, he is just like talking a daily routine. When Reiss is down or has just cried, he is also so peaceful. In a word, Reiss’s behavior reminds me of the gentry frequently mentioned in British series.
Reiss is always optimistic. When he illustrates his plans, he always focuses on how the goal can be achieved, instead of the solutions for the possible failures. He told me some of his plans, like pursuing for further study abroad. When carrying out the overseas study plans, he is sure that his IELTS score can be achieved, and in the meantime aware that his advantages.When I turned to Reiss on business and daily life, Reiss always cheered me up with his positive thinking. Like when I told him I wanted to start my own business but feared failure, he inspired me with his own entrepreneurial experience.
Reiss knows how to enjoy life. In my view, Reiss is the minority who fully comprehend “Life is only once, you need to cherish it and live your own life”. Reiss would not try to satisfy others through trying to earn more money, which is largely defined as the only criterion of success in China. Reiss used to run a very successful company, and gained a good fortune regularly. For most people it is hard for them to discard the high-noon success in pursuit of further study. But Reiss made it. And Reiss is the founder of a colossal non-profit organization. Reiss retreated from it despite that it might bring him fame and honor.
Today, Reiss brought me to the countryside cooking together with his other friends. His mild temper, opitimism and knowing how to enjoy life were again fully demonstrated. It just makes people around feel happy and peaceful.
