看到好盆友，傻乎乎被甜言蜜语迷晕，想悄咪咪告诉她/他真相怎么办？

pull one's leg/arm
eg.
She's pulling your leg. Don’t believe her! 她在骗你呢，别信！
当然开玩笑的时候也可以拿后一个idiom来回怼
-You’re pulling my leg!-你逗我呢！
-Yes, I’m pulling your leg.-对啊我逗你在。
另外，tell a lie还可以用tell a fish story/tale或tell a tall story/tale替代：

比如前几年的“好男人”文章、陈赫、薛之谦…当有一天他们被扒皮，网友发现真相时（scales fall from one’s eyes），他们搭建的人设就崩了。 这时，就可以把这样的人称为milkshake duck

● Meaning：To pretend all the time you feel or believe something when actually do not feel that way.

● Meaning：Lie openly and brazenly, knowing that what you are saying is completely false.

have scales fall from one’s eyes
● Meaning：To suddenly be able to see a situation clearly and accurately.

Milkshake duck
● Meaning：A person or character on social media that appears to be endearing at first, but is found to have an unappealing back story.

如果是靠欺骗的方式牟取了不正当利益（ill-gotten gains）可以用sharp practice来表达。

That company is under investigation for sharp practice so it's better to avoid dealing with them.
这让米姐想到，旅行时由于信息不对称很容易遭到当地人“宰客”。这时，可以用pull a fast one来表达“宰客”的意思，这种方式买到的商品，被称为rip-off。

The street vendor pulled a fast one on Tom. He sold him an orange juice for $10. It’s a rip-off!
当这种欺骗的方式涉及到“行贿”时，就可以用grease one's palm来表达。
