Sometimes when you start a virtual machine, you may find the vmWareshows nothing but a black screen. However, if I suspend the virtual machine, close the vmWare, start the vmWare again, choose the virtual machine, there will be a suspend screenshot, which indicates my virtual has been running but just no output was visible.
Possible solution:
- Choose the virtual machine - Settings - Display - Uncheck "Accelerate 3D graphics"
- Run cmd as administrator, execute command "netsh winsock reset" (This requires reboot)
The above methods resolved my issue magically.
