唯有神得荣耀！28/365

诗篇 76:1, 7-12 CUNPSS-神

“在犹大 ，神为人所认识； 在以色列 ，他的名为大。

惟独你是可畏的！ 你怒气一发，谁能在你面前站得住呢？ 你从天上使人听判断。 神起来施行审判， 要救地上一切谦卑的人； 那时地就惧怕而静默。 （细拉）

人的忿怒要成全你的荣美； 人的余怒，你要禁止。 你们许愿，当向耶和华—你们的神还愿； 在他四面的人都当拿贡物献给那可畏的主。 他要挫折王子的骄气； 他向地上的君王显威可畏。”

反思

地和一切所有都是属于耶和华的！没有人能取代神。所以，荣耀都要归给祂！人很多时候会因着自己的疏忽, 本性软弱，以自己的需要为中心。就因为如此，我们很容易就放大自己，忘了神的伟大！

1）唯有神的名显为大！

诗人提醒我们神是伟大的！祂的名是应当被称颂的！不要把自己的名放大，不要让自己出名！我们的生命不是来成为明星或巨星，而是要高举耶和华的名！让耶和华的名被称颂！

2）神发怒无人能抵挡！

神是可谓的，祂的怒气无人能挡。不要太在乎别人的话而是要在乎神的话。我们很多时候很怕得罪人却不怕得罪神！其实，我们把很多事情都颠倒来做！学习敬畏神，先顺服祂的旨意！

3）一切的荣耀都归祂！

我们在很开心的时候都能大声把荣耀归给神。但是，很幸苦的时候却不能把荣耀归主。神在我们的晴天或雨天都是很荣耀的！诗人说“人的忿怒要成全你的荣美”。在罪人夸大自己的时候，神能眷顾义人，抵挡高傲自大的人，显出祂的威严！所以，无论如何，都要把荣耀归于主！

祷告

主啊！祢真伟大！除你以外，别无别神！我要在我的生命宣扬祢的名！唯有祢配得一切的荣耀！奉耶稣的名，阿门！

Psalms 76:4, 9-11 NLT

You are glorious and more majestic than the everlasting mountains….

You stand up to judge those who do evil, O God, and to rescue the oppressed of the earth.

Interlude

Human defiance only enhances your glory, for you use it as a weapon. Make vows to the LORD your God, and keep them. Let everyone bring tribute to the Awesome One.

Reflection

God is indeed more glorious and majestic than the mountains! For those who loves mountain climbing and scenic places, it’s an awesome place to be when you are at the peak of a mountain, looking down at the landscape and enjoying the beauty of God’s creation. However, the glory of God is not just displayed in His handiworks but also demonstrated in our lives. His glory is seen when the weak become strong, the poor become rich, the proud brought low and the lowly is esteemed. So often, we view success based on our own efforts or the results that come from human strategies. Yet, the glory of God is sometimes manifested in the worst situation of our lives! In fact, God’s glory can even be displayed in the defiance of evil men and the rise of wickedness. Because through the doom and gloom , God will show Himself to be faithful.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for using this psalm to remind me that Your Name is most glorified when we acknowledge Your Presence in the darkest time. Its easy to say “All Glory goes to God” during good times but a bit harder when evil seems to triumph. However, it’s more glorious and powerful when You change my perception of things during difficult times. So, teach me to rejoice in hardships and smile during stormy days! Lord, Today as I bid farewell to a dear friend, mentor and spiritual guide in the hospice, I do see a life that brings Glory to You alone. And I rejoice and celebrate her life. So, Let me move from inspiration to perspiration Lord! Let me live out my calling and continue to use my life to display Your glory. Bless my bros n sis to live their lives for Your Glory alone. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
