周四 今天不到15分钟备好了u2 topic talk的课,里面有两个视频介绍成功的秘诀还是很拓展知识的,同时我让学生上黑板去写下来也落地了。呈现句型I think _____is the key to success because... 强调宾语从句动词原形不能做主语,所以是用动名词形式,如i think breaking the rules is the key to success. I think not being afraid of failures is the key to success. 把don't be afraid of failures换成动名词。
对于学生容易混淆的success 和successful, 可以考虑用词块,如be successful , lead a successful life, a successful person 和the key to success is..., the secrets of success are ...。加一个i want to succeed. I succeeded.
关于学生新学的remains committed and focused,区分committed是做出承诺长期投入的状态,而focused是当下专注的状态。用法是be committed to doing sth, a committed student, a committed teacher,
同时TT P1听力中还出现强调句Everyone can fail but it's how you deal with failure that counts.
今天7班停下来问了下how does being grateful help you to be successful? 郭ZJ说到being grateful means you are always appreciative of what you have and what other people have done for you. In this way, you are likely to stay positive about life and be inspiring to others. 鼓舞他人,成为别人的光。
两个班都没有来得及梳理下表示成功的秘诀的句型: 1. I think______is the key to success. 2. If you want to be successful, you need to be passionate about what you do.
3. you also need to work hard.
4. other secrets of success are to believe in yourself and to be grateful
5. The final tip is to learn from failure.
明天可以在朗读完听力稿子后来一次挖空测试,顺便讲评时把这些要点都讲了。
周五 大白听写+miniwriting TT1
今天两个班进行了U1大白听写,10班85以下只有三个人,11个满分。7班70以下14人,满分3个。基础落实能力可见不是一个水平。
调整策略:下周三7班继续考察U1,10班可以考虑进阶词汇10个加教材原文语法填空10个。
两个班均完成课文挖空,发现共同问题在于对于it is how you deal with failure that counts. 不知道强调句可以强调句子,所以填写不出that, 同时不知道count是动词是重要的意思。
两个班都对success 和commit进行词块词性整理,如the key to success, the secrets of success, the tips for success, lead a successful life, be successful, want to succeed, succeeded. 如双写T ,be committed to doing, a committed student投入专注的学生,a committed teacher敬业的老师,如commitment要去掉字母e加ment, a sense of commitment 责任感, 使命感。His commitment is amazing敬业,使命感; 当然还有动词用法commit a crime还没来得及说。
当然还给学生区分了一下,remain committed and focused 的区别,一个是长期投入,一个是当下的专注。
mini writing提问的是 Describe the highlight of your life in the past 16 years and the reason why you succeeded then. 专场的时候发现7班的孩子们写得很不顺畅,觉得自己没有什么high light时光,有的同学写的是地理第一,有的是英语比赛第一,其他还没有来得及判。10班明天再写,期待10班的。
周六
喜欢周三,上午还没有教研,三节课在精心备课。第二单元这节课昨天一看就觉得这个学生肯定会嗤之以鼻,不过今天上午我备着课,用理解六层次,用问题链,用罗素的拓展阅读,然后把自己感动了。挺好。开心。
此外,在做练习篇子的时候发现with the intention of, with the aim of,with the hope of.with 加抽象名词加of的用法可以写在作文里。
今天两个班上课都表示不理解JASON的选择,把财产都donate出去。我带着他们做了思维导图,带着他们用理解六层次分析了上三层决定下三层,上三层才是做决定的潜意识,他的价值观人生观不同,他对自己的身份和系统使命有要求,他想要过简单的生活,所以才做了这个决定。10班有个孩子说可以不理解但是不能不尊重他人的选择。7班孩子说因为我们不是百万富翁所以我们不理解,但是好多百万富翁也不这么做啊。带着他们看到了Jason的三观。
