My grandparents 'home is at a small village located in a high mountain. In recent years, highways has been built before the door which bring convenience to villagers greatly. I can still remember that it would take me the whole afternoon to climb the mountain to arrive at my grandparents ’home when I was a child. Whenever I was thirsty, I could drink spring water near the path. What impressed me most is the well nearest to my grandparents ’home. This square well is only one meter long but two meters deep. I could see small stones and fallen leaves clearly at the bottom of the well. The sweet spring water is warm in winter and cool in summer.However, that well is the just in the memory.Now, the water is too feculent to see the bottom of the well clearly. What is worse is that there are much household garbage in the well .And the well gives off a foul smell.There is no doubt that the spring water is seriously polluted and nobody drinks it like me in the past. Besides, I even find that not only household garbage but also other kinds of garbage are thrown in wells or Brooks which influences villagers ’living conditions.
Nowadays, some modern cities like shanghai has carried out the classification of garbage.But some remote villages haven ’t dispose garbage properly. It needs not only villagers ’awareness of environmental protection but also the government to take effective measures such as building a system for disposing the garbage to normalize the disposal of garbage.
